Spring (F.A.C.) Magazine

Spring is a female artist collective magazine, founded in Hamburg in 2004. I discovered it after finding, predominantly paper cutting artist, Stephanie Wunderlich; a freelance illustrator also based in the city.

I really like her work. I find that there is something quite striking about it- though this tends to be the way with a lot of paper cutting artists, I’ve found. Their cuts are both bold and intricate, and the colours tend to compliment and accentuate each other.

I really like the colour schemes used by Wunderlich in The White Fish and Lust in Wunder. Wunder especially feels rather nostalgic. The work below by Amuth Erti too.
